Catalog of data, metadata and databases

The obligation to publish the data catalog, the definitive metadata and the related databases in the possession of the administrations, pursuant to art . 9-bis paragraph 1 is the responsibility of the public administrations that own the databases referred to in Annex B, which does not include the State Attorney's Office.

Regulations

Since the Administration does not have an obligation to publish the data catalog, the definitive metadata and the related databases, the obligation to implement the regulations governing the exercise of the electronic access right and the reuse of data is also no longer valid.

Premise

Article 9, paragraph 7, of the decree-law of 18 October 2012, n. 179 (converted with amendments by law no. 221 of 17 December 2012 ) establishes that, by 31 March of each year, the public administrations referred to in article 1 - paragraph 2 - of legislative decree no. 165, are obliged to publish, on an annual basis, the accessibility objectives on their website.
The legislative decree 14 March 2013 n. 33 reorganized the obligations of publicity, transparency and dissemination of information by public administrations. Article 6 of the decree provides specific indications on the quality of information and data , mentioning among these accessibility and linking it to the characteristics of the open format and reuse (Article 7) and to the right of civic access (Article 5) as a dimension universal.
