Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee is composed of the Advocate General of the State, who chairs it, and of six lawyers of the State, designated by the Council of Advocates and State Attorneys, who have achieved at least the third salary class, do not hold the office of general secretary and are not members of the council of lawyers and state prosecutors.
In accordance with art. 26 of Law 103/79, the advisory committee is heard by the Advocate General on matters of maximum or particular importance, as well as on internal directives of a general nature for coordination in the handling of litigation and consultative matters; furthermore, after having heard the interested parties, it settles the differences of opinion that arise in the handling of contentious and consultative affairs between lawyers to whom the affairs are assigned; establishes the general criteria for the assignment of contentious and consultative affairs to lawyers and state prosecutors
