It takes care of the formalities entrusted to the administration for the cultural promotion and psychophysical well-being of the employees, to be carried out through initiatives aimed at this purpose

Receives, records and sorts correspondence not relating to legal affairs; collects and preserves internal regulations and documents relating to the affairs of the General Secretariat; relates to the public, pursuant to article 11 of legislative decree 30 March 2001, n. 165; programs and carries out the strategic planning of the administrative activity of the State Attorney's Office, also through the preparation of the performance plan and the drafting of the annual performance report and the annual directive of the Attorney General on administrative action; measures the performance and results of administrative activity, also in support of the performance evaluation body referred to in Article 13; formulates proposals for improving administrative action and organizational well-being; support office of the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency, as well as of the Head of Personal Data Protection.

Personnel management, recruitment and legal treatment of state lawyers and prosecutors and administrative staff, training, discipline, legal status, management of disciplinary proceedings; preparation of the requirements plan; relations with trade unions and decentralized bargaining; carrying out legal practice; awarding of honours; procedure for issuing identification cards. The person responsible for the inclusion of people with disabilities is appointed within the Office, pursuant to article 39-ter of Legislative Decree 30 March 2001, n. 165.
In charge of the service
Care, also in support of the Evaluation Unit pursuant to art. 11 of Presidential Decree 333/1995, the surveys and statistical processing on administrative staff and on the activity of the offices of the State Attorney for the purposes of proposals for the modification of working methods and conditions to improve the efficiency of services and relations with public administrations and entities.
He takes care of the drafting of the budget, the management of the chapters and the economic treatment of the staff.

He takes care of the library service; the requirements for printing or copying service publications; searches in external databases.
Attends to the management and maintenance of the information and communication equipment, and of the relative operating and application software making up the CED of the General Advocacy; to the analysis and training of application software; technical assistance relating to the IT systems of the district attorneys and users of IT equipment of the Attorney General.
It takes care of the formalities regarding the fundamental and accessory remuneration of the lawyers and attorneys of the State in service, forecasting, management and final balance of the costs of professional personnel in the context of the financial and economic balance sheet; verification of the accounts of the exact sums paid in court fees in the Treasury and related divisions and liquidation in favor of qualified personnel entitled to each Office of the State Advocacy; allocations and settlement of fees flowed to the Equalization Fund for Lawyers and State Attorneys. It takes care of the fulfilments, under the competence of the State Attorney's Office, relating to the assessment of the services useful for retirement and social security and the liquidation of the pension and severance payments of the State Attorneys and Attorneys.
