Experts in support of the ECHR Government Agent

The art. 1 paragraph 172, law n. 160 of 2019 provides:

"In order to support the Government Agent in defense of the Italian State before the European Court of Human Rights, a maximum of eight experts can be appointed, identified from ordinary, administrative and accounting magistrates, university professors, researchers at fixed term, research fellows, postdocs and managers of the state administration. The experts are appointed by the State Advocate General for a renewable period not exceeding three years, and are placed in a position of command or outside the role, unless the position is part-time and allows the normal performance of the functions of the office of belonging. For the performance of the tasks referred to in this paragraph, a fee is due, according to the respective regulations, to be determined at the time of the assignment, commensurate with the performance and proportionate to the type of activity, in any case not exceeding € 40,000 gross per year " .
