Staff subsidies - Criteria and methods
Decree of the Advocate General 28.2.1991, n. 5798 - Art. 4
In the provision of assistance interventions in favor of employees, pensioners and their families, the recurrence of a situation of need is assumed as a fundamental criterion, to be documented by the applicant, which can be determined by: bereavement, infirmity , surgery or family circumstances associated with exceptional expenses, etc.
In such cases, interventions cannot exceed the maximum limit of £. 200,000 =.
The amount allocated to the appropriate chapter of the budget is divided into two funds equal to 2/3 the first and 1/3 the second. The first deals with the interventions referred to in the previous first paragraph, the second serves to deal with emergency situations in which it is necessary to exceptionally exceed the aforementioned maximum ceiling.
In the absence of the above emergencies, in the last four months of the year, the provision set aside is used to deal with new situations or to supplement those already faced during the year.
The specific Commission, appointed by the Attorney General of the State, in which the various categories of employees are represented, provides for the examination of the requests aimed at obtaining assistance interventions and the consequent disbursement.
This Commission meets every four months.
